Phonetic punctuation with Victor Borge (and Michael Palin)

As it happens to all of our meetings, our most recent one had a tangent where we started talking about Victor Borge’s Phonetic punctuation bit. I remember it from a  children’s show, Jason remembers it being the Electric Company as well, but i could only find a clip on Sesame Street.

I like the idea of screwing around with completely mundane and making it absurd just by pointing it out or amplifying it. Video links after the jump. This also reminds me of the Monty Python sketch which is a similar concept: miming the spaces and patterns that we take for granted but completely define the meaning of every phrase.
