I have no idea where I came across this, I am guessing Reddit.com, but I think it is a good take on why wireframing is important. The author is more focused on graphic design than we are, so I see some pieces missing up front, like user research for example, but it is a nice, concise explanation of the benefits to wireframing. The pitfalls section is also nice, and I am a sucker for timeline-ish diagrams, so there are a couple winners for me in here.
I just saw that the author, Brian Cray, also made http://pxtoem.com/ which is one of those things that you see, then immediately think, “Gah, I should have made that.” So, good work Brian, that is very nice.
