Hi Dan-

I didn't, do you like it? I've worked with Axure and Balsamiq but tend to be more interested in stuff that makes wires clickable or handcoding HTML like an old schooler.

Thanks for the reference!

By the way Jason, did you try Justinmind Prototyper? It lets you create really complex interactions, things like forms, lists, simulation with real data, animations ... We recently released a new version which is still in beta, we'd be glad to have you as a tester.
You can take a look here: http://www.justinmind.com/blog/justinmind-prototyper-4-0-beta/

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Panayiotis-

Agreed, wireframes are a tough vehicle for selling a concept unless you're used to dealing with them. It's so much easier to use a tool that makes things interactive. We use Omnigraffle, but it could very well be InDesign, Axure or Visio.

Sounds like you have a similar mindset and do similar work as us. Cool! Let us know if you are ever in Chicago!

We used to spend countless hours creating and modifying wireframes for clients and always ran into problems no matter how much progress we'd make. Prototypes helped us cut down on notation about functionality and actually show it in real time.

This reduced confusion about how site features would behave, however we'd still run into the occasional: "Is this the final design? I don't like how simple it is. There's no color!" Needless to say, education is always a part of the process :)

Great post!
