I had no idea the laser printer was nearly as old as the original Mac. Well it figures that just today I bought a brand new, and very cheap ($89) laser printer to replace my inherited, 15 year old, Apple LaserWriter 16/600 which still works great, but sometimes crinkles my pages (www.fixyourownprinter.com has the antidote though and i have used them before to fix my 16/600. Awesome tutorials and service). Jason and crew don’t know this but i sometimes have to literally iron the pages that i use for presentations because they come out looking like some very large, and pale, lasagna noodles.

To me, the laser printer was truly the killer app for the Mac and desktop / democratic publishing.
